Building permit applications are available at the Town Hall.

Site Plan Applications are available at the town hall, will be mailed upon request, or may be downloaded here as a .pdf file.

Building permit must be obtained prior to the commencement of the work.

A permit is valid for 12 months.

Permits required for:

All new construction (commercial, residential, and farm building)
Removal/demolition of buildings
Septic systems
Manufacture Homes installations
Installation of solid fuel burning stoves
Other use or change of use of existing building and/or property

Permit Fees:

New Construction

Business $.06/sq. ft.
Residential (includes new and used Manufactured Homes) $.06/sq. ft.
Non-habitable structure $.03/sq. ft.
Septic systems $25.00

Alteration

$1.00/$1000 for cost of renovation ($15.00 minimum)

Certificate of Occupancy $25.00
