BOARD MEETING

Present:    Supervisor Don Strader, Town Clerk Donna McBath, Councilman Tom Schneller, Councilman Vincent Winters, Highway Superintendent Timothy Dow

Absent: Councilman C. Roger Shoen, Attorney Charles Nash, esq.     

1.    Meeting Called to Order for the Town Board Meeting

Supervisor Don Strader called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.

2.    Minutes Approvals

A. December 9, 2009

Councilman Schneller made a motion, seconded by Councilman Winters to approve the meeting minutes of December 9, 2009.   Ayes - 3     Nays - 0

3.    Approval of Transfers

Supervisor Strader made a motion, seconded by Councilman Schneller to approve the transfers for December 29, 2009.

4.    Approval of Abstracts

Councilman Schneller made a motion, seconded by Councilman Winters to approve the abstracts from December 29, 2009.

5.       Supervisor Report

Supervisor Strader wanted to inform the board that they had budgeted approximately $480,000.00 for unexpended balance.   As of December 29 the unexpended balance is approximately $1,162,000.00.

6.    Highway Superintendent Report

On the Highway Capital Projects Fund Balance - Equity -Fund Balance the total is $220,058.56. As of July 2009 the total was $56,607.84.   He wanted to know where the additional money came from. Supervisor Strader informed him he did not know and asked for Superintendent Dow to talk with Bookkeeper Nicole Barr on this matter.   Superintendent Dow stated that once the money is put in this account it cannot be remove unless there is a capital project done.

Superintendent Dow also informed the board that he and Town Clerk McBath were unable to get an invoice for the new law mower that the board approved to purchasing for the beach.  

Superintendent Dow asked Supervisor Strader if he knew where the lock and key went for the gate at Sparrow Hawk Point road as the Power Authority needs it back.   Supervisor Strader informed him that the lock and key was left on the gate so Sean Doyle can pick it up.

Supervisor Strader made a motion, seconded by Councilman Schneller to adjourn the meeting at 6:20 P.M.   Ayes - 3             Nays - 0
