TOWN OF LISBON BUDGET WORK SESSION MEETING NOVEMBER 1, 2006LISBON TOWN HALL Present: Supervisor Roger Watters, Councilman Thomas Schneller, Town Clerk Donna McBath, Councilman C. Joseph Collins, Highway Superintendent Timothy Dow, Councilman C. Roger Shoen Guest: Dan McNamara - Lisbon Town Assessor 1. Meeting Called to Order Supervisor Roger Watters called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Dan McNamara, Town Assessor, Wage Dan McNamara discussed with the board an increase of his salary from 3 days a week at $24,450 to 3 days a week at $25,350. Budget Discussion was held on trying to balance the budget. The discussion was put on hold for a guest to speak. Lisbon Beach - Toys for Tots Tori Gravel spoke on the behalf of Toys for Tots. She requested that Toys for Tots be able to return back to the Lisbon Beach for the 2nd weekend after Labor Day. The class of 2012 would be there on Sunday to clean up the beach on Sunday. Supervisor Watters informed her that there were problems in the past and it got out of control. She said she had not known about these problems, but she still wanted the board to consider this request. She was interested in making it a family gathering for local people. Ms. Gravel and Supervisor Watters agreed to stay in contact to let each other know what was going on. 3. Con't with budget 5. Adjournment Councilman Shoen made a motion, and was seconded by Councilman Schneller to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 PM. Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Respectfully Submitted, Donna D.
