1. Meeting Called to Order
Supervisor LeBarge called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
2. Minutes
On a motion from Councilman O'Brian and seconded by Councilman Jemison to approve the minutes of the May 12, 2004 Ayes - 5
Nays - 0
Transfers - 8810.4 to 8810.1
On a motion from Councilman Watters and seconded by Councilman Jemison to transfer $2,000 from 8810.4 to 8810.1. Ayes - 5
Nays - 0
Recognition of Guest
Krestia DeGeorge - Ogdensburg Journal - Asked if all the Board Members had
seen the article in the Ogdensburg Journal about the Museum
Scott Skiff was asked to be at the meeting to discuss the library boiler situation later in
the meeting.
Old Business
A. Building Quotes - The Board requested that Supervisor LeBarge to discuss the Town Hall repair proposals with the individual contractors to determine the exact scope and details of the work to be performed prior to the Board's acceptance of a final proposal.
B. The Woodlot - The major portion of the agreed upon trees have been removed. Discussion on trees on the sand dunes that needs to be removed. J & D Forestry Products has offered to remove the tress for $600.00. On a motion from Councilman Jemison and seconded by Councilman Watters to accept the offer from J & D Forestry Products to remove. Ayes - 5

Trailer - Supervisor is checking into purchasing a 7 x 14 trailer for the Beach as well
as for the Town Highway Department moving culvert pipes.
Installing Fire Alarm System - The Fire Alarm System is being installed by Barkley's at the Library.
The tanks at the Highway Department - The tanks have arrived, but the hardware for the tanks have not yet arrived.
Paving - The County has finished the paving in the Town of Lisbon as per the highway improvement contract except approximately one half mile of Fulton Road. (Due to collapsed culvert)
New Business
A. Library Boiler - The boiler at the Library is not working properly. The board has
asked for Supervisor LeBarge to get quotes on a single boiler an or double boiler to
heat the full Library.
B. Land - We are unable to use a section of land from Ralph and Diane Rawson to get to
the sand pits.
Sewer Plant - Supervisor LeBarge has recommended to the board that we use River
Septic Tank Service to remove the sludge from the Sewer Plant and dewater it. On a
motion from Councilman Jemison and seconded by Councilman O'Brian to use River
Septic Tank Service to dewater and dispose of sludge from Sewer Plant.

Ford Tractor - The Ford Tractor from the beach is not working properly. Supervisor LeBarge recommended John McBath check it out and repair as necessary. The board has agreed with the recommendation.
E. Dogs - Supervisor LeBarge has asked the board their opinions on what to do with
dogs that are picked up by the Dog Warden. The final decision was to remain with
Bridge Port Veterinary Clinic under Dr. Cruikshank as that has been the practice in
the past.
Grants for the Library - Librarian Sylvia Armstrong is looking into getting a
matching grant from North Country Library for a lift for the disabled.
7. Executive Session
A. A motion from Councilman Watters and Seconded by Councilman O'Brian to go
into executive session at 7:30 PM concerning Union Contract Negotiations. Ayes - 5
Nays - 0
On a motion from Councilman Watters and second by Councilman Duprey to
return to regular session at 7:50 PM.
Ayes - 5
Nays - 0
8. Adjournment
On a motion from Councilman Duprey and seconded by Councilman O'Brian Adjournment the meeting at 7:51 PM
